We have named the boy (and told all the grandparents this time before posting it here). We are starting to call him by name a little bit – mostly Ellie and me. Ellie continues to try to feel him move and kick and is very interested to know when it will finally be time for him to be born. Hannah is completely in love with Julia – and it is mutual – Julia lights up when Hannah walks in the room or she hears her voice. I think “The Little’s” will be very blessed to grow up with her as their big sister.

His name will be Evan J. Hale. The middle initial J. is after his daddy, Grandpa, and Great-Grandpa.

I hope he will be a lot like Ryan, since Hannah’s personality is so much like mine. Mostly, I hope he will be athletic like Ryan (there really isn’t anything athletic about me, other than the fact that I wear sneakers sometimes). I was worrying about that the other day, when I realized how active he is already. The ultrasound tech could hardly “catch” him to get a good view of him, and one time the doctor had to sort of trap him in order to get a good reading of his heart beat with the doppler. When I asked her if his heart sounded ok, she said, “anyone who can move that well has a healthy heart”.
