Hannah was explaining something to me that her Dad told her while we were reading a book that contradicted him.
Hannah decided, “Well, Daddy told me differently, and Daddy is always right so I am going to believe what he says.”
Wow – parenting! It is a powerful position!
She was saying that to me while having a bedtime glass of water in her pink pj’s fresh from a bath. Shiny face and just blow-dried hair.
Parents spend an awful lot of time and energy – and prayers sowing into their little ones.
Daddy is Supreme at 9 – hopefully, he will still be as respected at 19! He’s not perfect, we definitely let our kids see our flaws. Luckily, we are not perfect creations yet – but we are redeemed and forgiven.
Ryan and I are lucky – we both have Dad’s who are right.
That goes a long way towards explaining why Hannah has such a great Daddy.
